These are some of the main resources I use in my research. They include searchable records, guides, family tree platforms, and local history materials. Many genealogy sites also provide their own tools and databases, and I have found various forums and user groups helpful as well.

Norwegian Records and Archives

Digitalarkivet — https://www.digitalarkivet.no/
My most used resource. This is where you find:

• Church books (birth/baptism, marriage, death/burial)
• Census data
• Emigration records
• Probate records
• A wide range of digitised archives (In Norwegian)

Gravminner — https://www.slektogdata.no/gravminner
Database of graves in Norway. You can search by name, but if you are not a member you must first select fylke (county) and then kommune (municipality). You do not need to know the specific burial site. (In Norwegian)
