Children
- 1872 – John Larsen (dob 18 May 1872 – 6 Nov. 1956)
- He was a sailor in 1891 and a sailor and carpenter in 1900. He was married on 11 Nov 1894 to Anna Gurine Hansdatter (7 July 1873 – 18 Jan 1970). They probably had no children.
- 1874 – Kari Larsdatter (18 Sep 1874 – 12 Aug 1882 Died from Scarlet Fever)
- 1877 – Elen Marie Larsdatter (31 Mar 1878 – 15 Sept 1882 Died from Scarlet Fever)
- 1879 – Margrethe Jonette Larsdatter (27 oct 1879 – 15 Dec 1968). She lived with my grandmother in Bergen in 1934 and is buried with her there.
- 1883 – Lars Johan Larsen (3 June 1883 -?) Departed on 29 Nov 1899 from Bergen to the US as a sailor. He was listed on the 1900 census with the family but absent, probably in New York. There is a record of him leaving for New Nork in 1899. The New York, County Naturalization Records, 1791-1980 has a record from 1911 for a Lars Johan Larsen born in Tysnes on 30 June 1883 which is most likely him. A WW1 Draft record for 1918 shows the same person, now married to Margaret, living in New York.
I have matched him to Lawrence (Larry) Larson married on 23 Mar 1913 to Margaret Enright (1880-1948) from Ireland. They had 3 children: Margaret Larson (1914-?), Lawrence Joseph Larson (1915-2004) & James Patrik Larson (1917-1980) - 1887 – Kari Marie Larsdatter (15 Feb 1887 – 1975)
- 1890 – Jacob Nicolai Larsen (11 Nov 1890 – 18 Dec 1927) He was a lumberjack and a sailor. Married on 14 Dec 1914 to Kristofa Monsine Monsen (1893-1981). I can find no children but a fosterdaughter. She later remarried Wiik
- 1895 – Hans Olai Larsen (18 May 1895 – 18 Feb 1914) He died young from TB.
