  • 1865 : 31 December Kvinnherad Census for Haugedunbakken has John Larsen (age 48 ~1817) living with his wife Kari Hansdatter (53 ~1812) and 4 children: Lars (20 ~1845), Engeborg (16 ~18149), Kari (14 ~1851) & Hans (7 ~1858). John is a shoemaker as well as a farmer.
  • 1875 : 31 December Kvinnheard Census for Dunbakken has John Larsson (born 1818) living with his wife Kari Hansdatter (1810) and their children Kari (1852) and Hans (1859). John is still a farmer and shoemaker.
  • 1891 : 1 January Kvinnherad Census for Dunbakken (Houge) has John Larsson Hauge (born 1818) as a widdower, living with his son Hans Jonson Hauge (1859), who is a farmer and shoemaker, and his wife Anna Dårtea Eilivsdatter Hauge (1863) and their 3 children: John (1884), Kari (1886) & Bool (September 1889). A servant, Bool Eilivsdatter (1875), is also living with them. She was probably the sister of Anna.

Death:

John died a widower in Hauge on 26 February 1892, from cancer.
