  • 1865 : 31 December Kvinnherad Census for Haugedunsbakken has Margrethe Jakobsdatter (age 36) living with her husband John Olsen (41) and their children Kari (15), Elen (12), Anna (9), Alis (7), Jakob (4) & Ole (1).
  • 1891 : 1 January Kvinnherad Census has Margrethe Jakobsdatter (age 61) living with her husband John Olavson Dunbakken, and their sons Jon and Brynjulv
  • 1910 : Kvinnherad Census has Margrete Jakobsdatter (dob 20/02/1830) living at Dunbakken with her husband John Olsen Dunbakken (dob 15/01/1825) and their daugher Elen (dob 27/05/1854).
    Also living with them is their grandson Brynjulv Jonsen (dob 26 June 1897), the son of their son John Johnson (25/11/1870) from his 1st marriage. John Johnson is living at the same farm, which he owns, with his new wife Karoline Eilivsdatter (29/05/1877) and 6 children. The records has not been scanned but have been indexed and can be searched.

Death:

Margreta Jakobsdatter died on 20 April 1912 from a fall, leaving her husband Jon Olavson a widower.
