They did not continue their relationship. Hilda Skogsrud S\u00f8rvik found rest today after a long and painful illness, 72 1\/2 years old. Gj\u00f8vik, 7<\/em>&#8221; &#8211; translated from a newspaper clipping<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other evidence &amp; information<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the Biri vicarage fire in 1890, the church registers for 1789-1814 and 1854-1877 as well as part of the official archive were destroyed. I cannot find Hilda in the remaining records but have found her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalarkivet.no\/kb20060425050115\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">confirmation on 6 October 1889<\/a> where her date of birth is given as 18 March 1874, Sigstadeie, Biri.  Her father was Bernt Kristoffer Hansen, a tailor, and her mother Mathea Jonsdatter.
